Al Maidan Clinic-Dental
Three months ago I went to Al-Maidan clinic, after a long search for a good doctor, and came across Dr. Na'el al hazeem. I got in and out of his clinic in 10 minutes, he had extracted one of my upper wisdom teeth and told me to come back in my next visit to kuwait to get my two lower ones extracted.
I just got back from the clinic and got another tooth extracted, this time it was more serious since it had to be done through surgery. With my mum pleading over my head that i should just get up and go home with her, because i was going to faint and felt sick all morning, the doctor was trying to make it better by telling her he would only take one at a time. So i have another visit in a week time to remove the stitches and get my other tooth out.
My diet for the next few days is all liquids and milkshake, doesn't sound so bad :). My doctor is a kuwaiti doctor in Al-Maidan clinic in Hawally, he's is also the branch manager. The guy is amazing he's very confident and made me feel safe sitting under his hands. It took him less than 15 minutes to extract my tooth, its considered a semi surgery since he had to cut my gum open and pull the tooth out (gross i know).
Im no longer scared of dentists screwing up my teeth because with this doctor i feel like he definitely knows what he is doing. And i must say i had a bad experience with a different branch of al maidan clinic, however I am lucky that i found this doctor.

Gala Dinner for the Children's cancer center
Every year my dad gets tickets for charitable parties and events that bring in people like Elissa and Fadel shaker to raise money for the Children's Cancer Center in Lebanon. This year my dad was out of town, so me and my sister ended up going with my mum and her friend.
It was a typical charity dinner at the Sheraton Hotel starting with an introduction to the center with a video of children being treated and what the center does to help them. Later they had an auction on designer dresses, paintings and jewelry. Last but not least they brought in Fadel shaker to perform! *yay* He's the only arab singer that i love so much and can never get sick of listening to.
I think everyone should be made more aware of the center because it seems like their work is phenomenal with 80% success rate in the treatment of different types of cancer in children. I believe you can donate money as well through their website. For more info on the center check their webpage: Children's Cancer Center

BB Service in Kuwait
Once i got back to kuwait i realized there is no blackberry service with Wataniya and the only company offering BB service is Zain. My kuwaiti line is unfortunately with Wataniya, i never had Zain for some reason. So for now I am using my Etisalat line, only receiving emails and bbm's from people and i cant send anything =(
I heard rumors that wataniya and viva are planning on launching their BB service soon. Only thing is how soon is soon?

Crack A Berryy
I got my new blackberry Curve just yesterday so far so good!! I am in love with it, i should have gotten this a long time ago i just never really liked blackberries. I hate the way they are designed. However, with the new Bold, curve 8900 and somewhat the Storm they have transformed them from their older designs and they are selling like hot cupcakes among not just business people but students as well.
I am very impressed. I dont think i can ever go back to a normal phone now. I can set up as many emails as i want to be forwarded to my blackberry and everytime i get a new email i get notified, with the number of emails and messages i get per day getting a blackberry was the best choice i ever made. On top of all of that Etisalat is giving me first 3 months free Blackberry service after that its around 185dhs/14kd per month. Only thing i wasnt so happy about is the fact that i need a post paid line to be able to subscribe to the International Blackberry service.
There are so many things that you can do with a blackberry to mention a few: All your emails, sms, msn messenger, facebook, youtube, flickr are under your fingertips 24/7. Best of all is the Blackberry Messenger where you can send pictures, text msgs and voice messages to other blackberry users on your contact list.
