Gala Dinner for the Children's cancer center

Every year my dad gets tickets for charitable parties and events that bring in people like Elissa and Fadel shaker to raise money for the Children's Cancer Center in Lebanon. This year my dad was out of town, so me and my sister ended up going with my mum and her friend.

It was a typical charity dinner at the Sheraton Hotel starting with an introduction to the center with a video of children being treated and what the center does to help them. Later they had an auction on designer dresses, paintings and jewelry. Last but not least they brought in Fadel shaker to perform!  *yay* He's the only arab singer that i love so much and can never get sick of listening to.

I think everyone should be made more aware of the center because it seems like their work is phenomenal with 80% success rate in the treatment of different types of cancer in children.  I believe you can donate money as well through their website. For more info on the center check their webpage: Children's Cancer Center

Onyx- Unreleased Blackberry

There is a new unreleased Blackberry phone called Onyx. It kinda looks like a hybrid of the Curve and the Bold.
I hope they rethink the name "Onyx".Full review by Crackberry

BB Service in Kuwait

Once i got back to kuwait i realized there is no blackberry service with Wataniya and the only company offering BB service is Zain. My kuwaiti line is unfortunately with Wataniya, i never had Zain for some reason. So for now I am using my Etisalat line, only receiving emails and bbm's from people and i cant send anything =(

I heard rumors that wataniya and viva are planning on launching their BB service soon. Only thing is how soon is soon?

Crack A Berryy

I got my new blackberry Curve just yesterday so far so good!! I am in love with it, i should have gotten this a long time ago i just never really liked blackberries. I hate the way they are designed. However, with the new Bold, curve 8900 and somewhat the Storm they have transformed them  from their older designs and  they are selling like hot cupcakes among not just business people but students as well.

I am very impressed. I dont think i can ever go back to a normal phone now. I can set up as many emails as i want to be forwarded to my blackberry and everytime i get a new email i get notified, with the number of emails and messages i get per day getting a blackberry was the best choice i ever made. On top of all of that Etisalat is giving me first 3 months free Blackberry service after that its around 185dhs/14kd per month. Only thing i wasnt so happy about is the fact that i need a post paid line to be able to subscribe to the International Blackberry service.

There are so many things that you can do with a blackberry to mention a few:  All your emails, sms, msn messenger, facebook, youtube, flickr are under your fingertips 24/7.  Best of all is the Blackberry Messenger where you can send pictures, text msgs and voice messages to other blackberry users on your contact list.
